During a chat with OneFootball, the Red Devils star was asked to pick the best eleven players he has played with for club and country. Shaw picked Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the front three while selecting Raphael Varane, Kyle Walker and John Stones as his defensive partners. He also named three legendary English midfielders Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard and Michael Carrick in the middle of the park and included former United teammate David De Gea as the goalkeeper.

While Shaw did include several current club and country teammates in the lineup, he surprisingly omitted club captain Bruno Fernandes from the list. He also did not include another colleague Harry Maguire who plays alongside him for both club and country.
